The night life of Minorca is dispersed for the great quantity of tourist urbanizations of the island, but Maó and Ciutadella  concentrate the biggest quantity in discos and musical bars. In Maó, the area of the port (in front of the marine station ) it is the most lively, and the same thing happens in Ciutadella, with Sant Joan's Pla, also in the port. These two areas are frequented by the menorcans, so much during the tourist season as in winter, although during this last only there is good atmosphere the weekends. Although the offer is varied so much in music styles as in decoration and atmosphere of the local, in general we can say that the night life in Maó and Ciutadella begins very late, passing the midnight, and  is prolonged until very high hours of the night. Usually frequent these bars the menorcans and the Spanish tourists.

However, in the urbanizations like The Dolphins, Cala´n Bosch, Son Bou, etc., the atmosphere begins much before, like it is habit among the foreign tourists, although for that reason they don't stop to close till 4 or 5 A.M.
