Fornells is a fishermen village located at the shelter of a large and spectacular bay, in the north of the island of Menorca, which today has joined the tourism offer with very powerful reasons. Perfect for sports, sailing or scuba divingbecause its calm waters, even when strong wind blows. In the restaurants that are abundant in its docks is served the typical lobster stew, made with the prized crustacean which capture the local fishermen. Very close to Fornells is Cala Tirant beach and in the same bay there are a series of small beaches on the other side of the fishing village. At the end of the bay is found Ses Salines, old salt farms that would take advantage of the shallow waters to obtain the product by evaporation.
